Evaluation Question 7: Looking Back At Your Preliminary Task What Do You Feel You Have Learnt In The Progression From It To The Full Product?

At the very beginning of this task we firstly had to make a prelim task to gain a vague understanding as to what we'd be doing. On the right is my prelim displayed

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is my final piece for my music magzine front cover, instantly

i can see a large progression form the prelim to the final piece,

some easy examples would be the use of cover lines as on my prelim

they are very vague and very randomly placed and look strange,

the use of colour has progressed greatly too with my final using very simialr colours to show the branding etc. Other things such as the photos used are much clearer and better and also the fact that my final piece looks far more professional than my original piece. The layout of my final product compared with my prelim task makes it look far more organised therefore making it look very professional just like a real music magazine (like Kerrang, Metal Hammer and NME), other simple things such as the barcode and the price also add to this
